I think I am having sapi5 issues.

I need some help with sapi5. Everytime I try to use a sapi5 voice nothing seems to happen, or everything freaks out.

I've downloaded weather aloud and I tried to select a sapi5 voice and it said something like the engine isn't responding. What does that mean and how can I fix it?

I went to choose a sapi5 voice to use with window eyes and that completely flipped out things! Window eyes nearly crashed and went all silent!

I appreciate any help. I've just purchased my first fancy voice and I'm excited to use her. My trial of weather aloud runs out tomorrow.

BTW, the voice is cepstral Allison. *Smile,* if you have anything against her, be gentle. I stressed out on what fancy voice to purchase! *grin*

Well, I'm afraid it is a Cepstral problem.

I've done everything I can think of to repair sapi5. I've also downloaded sapi5 Mike and Mary. They are working fine for my various applications.

I've emailed support at Cepstral to see what they say.
